Descripción: In liaison with ISP, support providers and ICT at King’s Group, the ICT Specialist is in charge of monitoring all the IT network communications regarding any technical faults or issues that users experience through the OpenIT server. They are also responsible for updating and implementing new systems, hardware and software, providing maintenance and dealing with the stock control for new equipment. The ICT Specialist is also on hand to provide assistance when projectors or sound control is needed for events. They are also responsible for providing the correct training to the necessary staff. As onsite support, this list is a guideline as to some of the areas for which the ICT Specialist will take responsibility, but will not encompass absolutely every aspect of the ICT Specialist’s role:

Key responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Reviewing incidents on the OpenIT system; connecting it to the OpenIT application to check if there are new or pending incidents to resolve.
Checking the state of the network printers on site and through web interface to check the correct function of these as well as the consumption levels of the printers in the schools.
